I am an active, compassionate, absurd person. I have a great appreciation for the silly and the skillful. As well as kindness and resilience. Sometimes I am thinking about the dinosaurs, and sometimes I thinking about quantum mechanics, and sometimes I am thinking about how to bring back drive-in movie theatres. I am always thinking about food. It is important to me to understand how stuff works, so I will often take things apart and tinker with them. I love nature and hiking and music and reading and, of course, science fiction. I am currently working in construction and renovation, but until recently I was the general manager for the East side Vision Video. I have done many different things employment-wise. I have been a mechanic, a Santa Clause, a projectionist and many things between. I like learning new crafts and believe that the Universe was meant to be looked at from different perspectives. So I learn and change and hopefully improve my understandings. I spend half of my week with my young son who is simply awesome. I try to be a fun, exciting and responsible dad. We do a lot of cool stuff like going to the nature center, the botanical gardens, and the comic book store! We eat healthy foods, sing our ABC's and watch the stars. He and his generation will move the world forward with thoughtful, positive decisions. I hope to find someone out there of similar interests and philosophies to adventure about with and relax by. Looking at fellow Trekkie's for a date seems like a good idea. I am a huge fan of The Next Generation, but I enjoy all the series and movies (aside from Into Darkness which I felt had ludicrous pacing and lacked the Star Trek mythos). So if you enjoy food, puns, and occasionally jumping in the mud then perhaps we should meet.
